| N. Korea Denounces US For Accusing Pyongyang of Being Behind Sony Hacking |

 North Korea has strongly denounced the United States government for its allegations that that the North is behind the cyber attack into Sony Pictures Entertainment’s computer system.
In a statement issued on Monday, the policy bureau of the North’s National Defense Commission said the U.S. has accused the North for the Sony hacking without any grounds. The bureau then threatened to launch ultra-strong responses toward the U.S., including the White House and the Pentagon, which would exceed the "proportional response" declared by U.S. President Barack Obama.
The bureau added that anyone who sides with the U.S. and challenges justice will inevitably face ruthless punishment.
It denied the North’s involvement in the hacking, claiming that rumors that the North is behind the incident are based on Washington’s artificial claims. The bureau said the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation had fabricated its statement that it had found evidence that Pyongyang was responsible for the Sony attack.
The bureau said, however, that it is relieved that the film company has scrapped plans to release the film “The Interview." Starring Seth Rogan and James Franco, the film features the comic duo traveling to North Korea to carry out a plot of assassinating North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. The film was set to premiere on Christmas this Thursday.
The bureau added that it highly regards the cyber attack by the hackers that call themselves the Guardians of Peace and claim to be behind the latest incident.
