S.Korea's Chang Inducted into Boxing Hall of Fame

Former light flyweight champion of the world Chang Jung-koo has become the first South Korean boxer to make it into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

AFP and the Associated Press announced Tuesday that the Boxing Writers Association has elected “the Korean Hawk” and 12 others into the Hall of Fame.

After winning the WBC Light Flyweight Title in 1983, Chang went on to successfully defend his title 15 times. He retired with a career record of 38 wins and 4 losses, with 17 of his wins coming by knockout.
