Rain and cloudy skies are expected for the central and southern regions Monday.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, areas along the southern coast will likely see rainfall of up to 100 millimeters through Tuesday, while up to 80 millimeters will fall on Jeju Island in the two-day period, accompanied by strong winds.

Some areas may see torrential rains of around 30 millimeters per hour.

Areas in the Chungcheong region will see around five millimeters of precipitation, while Gyeonggi and Gangwon provinces will likely see sporadic showers.

Daytime highs on Monday will stand at 31 degrees Celsius in Seoul, 29 degrees in Daegu and 28 degrees in Gwangju, one to five degrees lower than Sunday’s.
