Son Heung-min earned a game-tying penalty in his debut for Los Angeles Football Club, just three days after joining the Major League Soccer side following a decade-long stint with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Son entered the match as a substitute in the 61st minute during LAFC’s away game against Chicago Fire FC at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois, on Saturday local time.

He drew the crucial penalty in the 77th minute, with LAFC trailing 2-1.

The match ended in a 2-2 draw, lifting LAFC to fifth place in the Western Conference standings.
