South Korea’s teenage pop sensation Boa was honored with two awards at the 2004 MTV Asia Awards (MAA) held in Singapore Saturday. Boa won the Favorite Korean Artist award and the Most Influential Artist in Asia award, becoming the only artist to win two awards at this year’s MAA. Leading artists from ten Asian countries including South Korea, China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Philippines, India, Taiwan and Thailand as well as artists from the United States, Great Britain and Canada attended this year’s ceremony, Asia’s largest music celebration, now in its third year.
