Shelter for NK Escapees is Expanded
The expansion of a shelter for North Korean escapees will be completed on Thursday.
The expansion of Hanawon began in October last year and has cost nearly 13 billion won.
The facility has dorms, classrooms and computer labs. It can accommodate up to 600 people at a time.
Hanawon opened in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, in July 1999.
