BOK to Inject W6.5 Tln into Market through Repos
The Bank of Korea plans to inject an additional six-and-a-half trillion won in liquidity into the market through the use of repurchase agreements.
The central bank said Monday that it will buy bonds issued by liquidity-starved domestic banks and securities firms in the form of repos as a way of providing long-term stability to financial institutions.
