‘Gov’t to Consider Suggestions by Business Groups’
The government says it will actively consider input from major business groups on easing regulations.
The Office for Government Policy Coordination said that ministries concerned would make efforts to reflect their suggestions in measures to revitalize the nation's economy and improve management conditions.
Meanwhile, on behalf of the business groups, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry submitted to the Regulatory Reform Committee 123 suggestions for eight sectors of the economy.
The suggestions included abolishing limits on voting rights for financial subsidiaries, facilitating the employment of contract workers and easing regulations on large conglomerates’ factories near Seoul.
