Mando Clinches $1 Bln Deal with GM

A major Korean automobile parts manufacturer, Mando, has clinched a one-billion-dollar deal with General Motors (GM) of the United States.

Mando announced Friday that it signed the contract with the auto company, bumping out other global leaders like Bosch and Delphi Automotive Systems Corporation.

Under the deal, Mando will provide around seven-hundred-20 million dollars worth of steering devices and two-hundred-70 million dollars in brake systems to GM production bases for five years starting in 2007.

Meanwhile, Mando also unveiled that it had received orders worth one-point-three billion dollars from China’s First Automobile Works as of November.
