S. Korea, China, Japan to Discuss Logistics
Top government officials from South Korea, China and Japan will meet in Seoul next month to seek ways to promote logistics.
The trilateral meeting will open in Seoul on September 7 and will focus on sharing information on logistics and resolving related issues.
Minister for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Kim Sung-jin announced Thursday that the upcoming meeting will particularly concentrate on securing safety for marine transportation, harbors and open waters.
The three countries will adopt a joint statement on cooperation in the logistics field after concluding the meeting.
The government, meanwhile, plans to regularize the three-way talks and also seek to have a private group organize an international forum on logistics.
