Having watched my first K survival show week to week as it happened, I found one way I seem different from most netizens.

Many people in discussions seem to prioritize supporting the favorite competitors and point out how they are above all others. But I find myself engaging way more in threads talking about contestants that we cared about and followed even though they weren’t getting major votes.

Thinking about this, I am the same with groups now. I watch and listen to many big groups but never got into ranking anybody. They all have appeal, but I get excited to discover, support, and chat about under-appreciated groups. I think I am predisposed to fight for the underdog.
