Since I no longer work an overnight shift at the 2nd job, I have been listening to repeat broadcasts in my evening.

Instead of nodding off early and listening to the podcast later, I caught the last replay time and am so glad I did because I got to your live performance song and I am blown away. I felt both vocals in my gut. That is a great example of the rawness I was writing about craving last week. The “mistakes” to me are the emotional warmth in the moment that humanizes the material instead of a precise delivery. I love it, thanks so much for playing this version. I need it in my library. I had learned you were a pro and had songs I liked, but this performance seriously took my appreciation up a couple more levels.

P.S. Not that there’s anything wrong with a well produced studio song, my taste pendulum is just swinging back recently from all the sugary pop I’ve been diving into this year.
