Hello, ever feel like you can’t catch a break?

I had to go to the ER because of a kidney stone!  Ugh. Luckily it passed without any surgery needed. Still very unpleasant and had to take time off work.

I started watching Extraordinary Attorney Woo while resting because it was described as a feel-good show. It is entertaining with good performances and did lighten my mood, but I feel for the dad, especially in the flashbacks to when she was young. Shows like this always make me wish my life had writers to plot out perfect solutions to materialize conveniently when something was puzzling or difficult.
