The newest friend that I make is Axelle from France. I had vacation in Japan during November, I met Axelle at Matsue, we were staying in the same dorm room.
I felt surprised and delighted listening to her story. It was Axelle first time in Japan, the main reason she made that trip was to meet her friend which they haven’t meet for 15 years. They reconnected with each other thru Facebook. They’re musicians, they reunited and performed a concert together. Axelle talked about the college days, and now they had formed their own family with children.
I would like to dedicate Kim Dong Ryul - Those Days to Axelle and her friend. Francis Bacon once said “Age appears to be best in four things; old wood best to burn, old wine to drink, old friends to trust, and old authors to read.” Cheers to all the friendships around the world!
