The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 19-point-08 points, or zero-point-78 percent, on Thursday, to close the day at two-thousand-468-point-88.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 13-point-66 points, or one-point-82 percent, to close at 764-point-62.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened eleven won against the dollar, closing at one-thousand-220-point-three won.
