The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 14-point-05 points, or zero-point-54 percent, on Monday, to close the day at two-thousand-615-point-41.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, adding two-point-22 points, or zero-point-26 percent, to close at 870-point-28.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened two-point-four won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-308-point-one Korean won.
