The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell seven-point-95 points, or zero-point-31 percent, on Thursday, to close the day at two-thousand-569-point-17.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose, however, gaining six-point-84 points, or zero-point-80 percent, to close at 863-point-78.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened five-point-six won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-321-point-six won.
