The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose four-point-16 points, or zero-point-16 percent, on Friday, closing the week at two-thousand-527-point-94.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ fell, however, losing zero-point-52 points, or zero-point-06 percent, to close at 831-point-63. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened zero-point-six won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-302-point-four won.
