The first snow of the year fell at Mount Seorak on Tuesday.
 
The Gangwon Regional Meteorological Administration says snow mixed with rain has been falling at the mountain’s Jungcheong Peak since 11:30 a.m.
   
The first snow at Mount Seorak comes 15 days earlier than last year.
 
The weather agency predicts the central and northern mountainous regions of Gangwon Province will see one to three centimeters of snow overnight.
