South Korea’s national postal service says it will introduce a five-digit zip code in July 2015.
 
Korea Post said Monday the 45-year-old six-digit postal code will be replaced as part of the government’s plans to streamline its administrative system from January next year.
 
The Ministry of Public Administration and Security introduced the system in order to unify the zoning system and enhance the nation’s administrative competitiveness.
