South Korea’s largest information technology (IT) exhibition kicked off on Tuesday.

The World IT Show 2013 opened at the COEX convention center in southern Seoul for a four-day run under the theme, “Smart Life, Simple IT.”

About 440 companies from 20 countries are displaying their cutting-edge technologies and products at about 15-hundred booths.

Organizers expect the exhibition to draw more than two thousand foreign buyers.

At the event, Samsung Electronics displayed its 85-inch ultra high definition (UHD) television, latest Galaxy S4 smartphone and solid state drive (SSD) 840.

LG Electronics also unveiled a series of its latest smartphone products, including Optimus G Pro and Optimus GK.

The event is co-hosted by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
