S. Korea Predicted to See Hotter Weather Sooner this Year

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicts that hot weather will arrive in South Korea earlier than usual this year.

The weather agency said in a report Tuesday that a migratory anticyclone and the expansion of the southwesterly air current will bring hot weather and heavy rains to Korea in June.

It predicted that the weather will be cloudy and rainy during many days in July because of low atmospheric pressure.
