S. Korean Prof. Named to International Arbitration Court

A South Korean professor has been named a judge on the Permanent Court of Arbitration.

Korea Aerospace University said on Monday that air and space law professor Park Won-hwa has been appointed one of 14 judges of the court, who will deal with disputes on space matters.

Park will now attend a trial on space disputes involving possible collisions among satellites.

The court is an intergovernmental organization that facilitates arbitration and other forms of dispute between states.
