SK advanced to the championship round of South Korea's premier baseball league after beating the Lotte Giants 6-3 in a best-of-five series at Munhak Stadium in Incheon on Monday. SK’s Jeong Keun-woo was selected as the most valuable player in Monday’s match.
SK will take on the Samsung Lions for the Korean Series title for the third year in a row.
The best-of-seven series between SK and Samsung kicks off Wednesday.
