South Korea Powers on at the Paralympics

South Korea has been climbing up the medal table at the 2012 London Paralympics with two more gold medals just one day before the Games come to a close.

Min Byeong-eon came out on top in a men’s swimming match, after Choi Ye-jin won the gold for boccia.

Faced with a South Korean opponent, Choi fought for the gold in the individual BC3 boccia gold medal match.

After a neck and neck battle, Choi managed to top the match 4-3 against Jeong Ho-won.

Jeong won the silver while Jeong So-young, also from South Korea, added a bronze medal to the country’s pile.

Jeon Min-jae, who had competed for the women’s 100-meter track race, took home a silver medal.

Min won the gold in the men’s 50-meter backstroke with an outstanding performance, ending a comfortable three seconds ahead of his fastest opponent, coming in with a record of 42.41 seconds.
