S. Korea Wins Gold in Men's Table Tennis at Paralympics

South Korea’s Kim Young-gun has won a gold medal in men’s table tennis at the London Paralympics.

Kim beat China’s Zhang Yan 3-1 in the men’s singles, class-four match held at the North ExCeL Arena on Monday.

Kim Kyung-mook took silver in the men’s singles, class-two event after losing to Jan Riapos of Slovakia 3-1.

On Tuesday, South Korea will aim for gold medals in boccia and other events.

Currently, South Korea ranks 14th in the overall medal tally with four gold, three silver and four bronze medals.
