S.Korea Gains Medals at London Paralympics

South Korea has been successful so far in its hunt for medals at the London Paralympics, with the country winning a second gold medal in judo.

After Park Se-gyun snagged a gold medal in shooting, Choi Gwang-geun won a second gold medal in the 100-kilogram judo competition on September 1st.

The medal won by visually impaired Choi was the first medal for South Korea in the sport since the Sydney Games in 2000.

In the women’s 200-meters, Jeon Min-jae, who suffers from cerebral palsy, won a silver medal.
South Korea aims for 13th on the medal rankings for the London Paralympics.
