Soccer player Park Chu-young has returned to South Korea’s World Cup national soccer team after six months for a regional qualifier for the 2014 Brazil World Cup.

Head coach Choi Kang-hee on Wednesday announced the national team's 23-player roster for the Asian Zone's final qualifying match against Uzbekistan on September 11th.

The roaster includes Park Chu-young, who has returned from Olympic play, Koo Ja-cheol, Ki Sung-yong, Park Jong-woo and Lee Chung-yong. Lee is joining the team after a year absence due to an injury.

South Korea secured two wins in the previous regional World Cup qualifiers.
