S. Korean-Born Ko Becomes Youngest LPGA Winner

South Korean-born 15-year-old Lydia Ko became the youngest ever winner on the LPGA Tour on Sunday at the CN Canadian Women's Open.

Ko, who lives in New Zealand, shot a five-under 67 in the final round at the Vancouver Golf Club for a 72-hole total of 13-under.

She won by three shots over South Korean Park In-bee, who finished second.

Ko is the fifth amateur winner in LPGA history. She is ineligible to collect the 300-thousand-dollar prize money as an amateur, so runner-up Park took the money instead.

Fellow Koreans Choi Na-yeon, Shin Ji-yai and Chella Choi finished tied at third place at eight-under.
