S.Korea's Paralympics Squad Launched

South Korea’s squad for the Paralympic Games has been officially launched in a ceremony in downtown Seoul.

The squad, consisting of 149 members including 88 athletes, on Friday vowed to do their best at the 2012 London Paralympic Games, which opens on August 29th.

At the ceremony, Prime Minister Kim Hwang-sik said that he hopes the athletes will show their best performances at the games.

South Korean athletes will be competing in 13 events, aiming to win eleven gold medals and finish 13th in the medal rankings.
