S. Korean Olympic Athletes to Return Home Tuesday

South Korean Olympians will be returning home from London Tuesday after one of the nation's most successful Olympic Games.

Roughly 100 athletes including judo and taekwondo players and members of the women’s handball team and their coaches will arrive at Incheon International Airport around 4 p.m. Tuesday. From five p.m., a welcoming ceremony and a news conference will be held.

The athletes and coaches will take part in a welcome-home festival organized by KBS at Yeoido Park in western Seoul after the news conference.

South Korea won 13 gold, eight silver and seven bronze medals to rank fifth in the overall medal tally at the London Olympics following the United States, China, Britain and Russia.
