S. Korea's Kim Wins Gold in Greco-Roman Wrestling

South Korea's Kim Hyeon-woo is the new Olympic champion in men's under 66-kilogram Greco-Roman wrestling.

The 24-year-old defeated Hungary's Tamas Lorincz 2-0 for the gold at the ExCel North Arena 2 in London on Tuesday.

Kim is the first South Korean wrestler to win gold in wrestling since Jung Ji-hyun topped the podium in the Athens games eight years ago. South Korea came home with the bronze in wrestling from the Beijing Olympics four years ago.

Kim is also the first South Korean to win a gold medal in the 66-kilogram category of men's Greco-Roman wrestling.
