South Korean Sits 4th in Olympic Medal Tally

South Korea’s Ryu Seung-min, Oh Sang-eun and Joo Sae-hyuk have defeated Hong Kong in men’s team table tennis to advance to the gold medal match against China.

The South Korean female table tennis team wasn't as fortunate, falling to China 0-3 in the semifinals. They will play in the bronze medal match.

South Korean boxer Han Soon-chul advanced to semifinals and secured the bronze medal by defeating Fazliddin Gaibnazarov of Uzbekistan in the men’s light event.

South Korea’s synchronized swimmers Park Hyun-ha and Hyun-sun advanced to the final in the women’s duet event.

In the London Olympic medal standings, South Korea currently ranks fourth place with eleven gold medals, five silver medals and six bronze medals.
