S. Korea Beats Denmark 25-24 in Women's Handball

South Korea beat Denmark 25-24 in women’s handball at the London Olympics on Monday.

By capturing their second victory, the handball team is one step closer to an Olympic medal.

Meanwhile, the men’s hockey team, which is vying for a medal for the first time in 12 years, beat New Zealand 2-0.

In women’s volleyball, South Korea defeated Serbia 3-1 putting an end to a seven previous losing streak.

Judo star Wang Ki-chun, meanwhile, lost his semifinal match and failed to win bronze medal due to injury in his right elbow.

In fencing, Shin A-lam also failed to secure a berth in the gold medal match of the women's individual epee fencing match.
