South Korea has played Mexico to a scoreless draw in the men's soccer match at the London Olympics.

Both teams failed to score in the opener for the Group B held on Thursday at St. James’ Park in Newcastle.

South Korea, however, secured one point from its first match against Mexico, which is considered the strongest team in Group B.

The national soccer team led by coach Hong Myung-bo will face Switzerland on Sunday in Coventry.
