Olympic Soccer Team's Final Roster Announced

The final roster of the nation’s 18-member soccer team that will play in the 2012 London Olympics has been announced.

National team head coach Hong Myung-bo on Friday announced his team, including striker Park Chu-young, goalie Jung Sung-ryong and Kim Chang-soo as three “wild cards” picks.

The 18-member squad is comprised of eleven players currently playing abroad.

Hong said that he selected more experienced players for the Olympics as the nation will face strong foreign teams.

The national soccer team will hold a warm-up match with New Zealand in South Korea on July 14th and fly to London the next day.
