The official song of the 2012 London Olympics, "Survival, " by British rock trio muse has hit public airwaves.

British media reported that the organizing committee of the London Olympics selected the tune and it took to the air earlier this week.

Muse released the song via the band’s website and iTunes, explaining that Survival will be played as athletes enter the venues and before official ceremonies during the games.

The organizing committee has selected four other songs specially composed for the games and recorded by Elton John vs. Pnau, Delphic, Chemical Brothers and Dizzee Rascal. The songs will be released between July 16th and August sixth.
