This year's first heat wave advisories for Incheon and north Gyeonggi Province were issued while the temperatures over in the central region and Jeolla Province have hit 33 degrees Celsius.

The mercury on Monday climbed to 33-point-seven degrees Celsius in Jeongeup, North Jeolla Province, 33-point-two degrees in Seoul and Paju, and 32-point-three degrees in Incheon.
