3.9 Magnitude Quake Reported in Muju, North Jeolla Province

A three-point-nine magnitude earthquake was reported in Muju County, North Jeolla Province just before 1 p.m. on Friday.
The Korea Meteorological Administration says the epicenter was five kilometers northeast of the Muju County Office.
Thumping sounds were heard in the area, windows shook and the tremor continued for about ten seconds.
Tremors were also felt in Daejon City and Jeonju and Suncheon in the Jeolla provinces as well as Daegu and Jinju in the Gyeongsang province region.
No damage has been reported yet.
