Nation Sees Unseasonably High Temps

The nation has seen unusually high temperatures for spring as temperatures surpassed 30 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.

The mercury reached 31-point-three degrees Celsius in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, 31-point-one degrees Celsius in Jeonju, North Jeolla, 30 degrees in Daegu and 26-point-two degrees in Seoul.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said that due to a warm air front from the south, the temperatures were ten degrees higher than the seasonal norm.

The unseasonably high temperatures are expected to drop on Wednesday as rain is in the forecast.
