London Subway Stops Renamed after Olympians

London has renamed its subway stations after famous athletes in the spirit of the upcoming London Olympic Games.

British Media report that the Transport for London is celebrating famous Olympic medalists by renaming 361 subway stations after them. Local media say the move is a strategy to promote the London games in July.

South Korean swimmer Park Tae-hwan, who won gold and silver medals in the 2008 Olympics, is representing Debden station, while Imperial Wharf station has been named after female archer Park Sung-hyun.
