S. Korean Women's Curling Team Makes History by Reaching Playoffs

South Korea’s national women’s curling team has earned a playoff berth in the women’s world curling championship for the first time in history.

Team Korea capped its preliminary rounds in Canada with victories to finish with an 8-3 record, after losing against Switzerland but defeating Russia.

South Korea has secured its spot in the playoffs along with Sweden regardless of the outcome in remaining games with runner-up Canada and Switzerland.
