A domestic team of researchers has developed the world’s first technology to produce flexible solar batteries with nanofibers.

Existing solar batteries must be installed on flat surfaces, but the newly developed batteries can be installed on curved surfaces, presenting a variety of industrial possibilities.

Recharging a cell phone can be simple and easy if a notebook-sized solar battery is put on a jacket.

The battery could be used to supply power to soldiers who are in a combat or cars and certain structures.

The costs to manufacture flexible batteries are about half those of existing ones, and the new development is expected to lead the global market for solar batteries, which are considered the future of energy.
