Korean American rookie golfer John Huh has won his first PGA Tour title at the Mayakoba Golf Classic in Mexico.

Huh on Sunday won the title by beating Australian Robert Allenby in the second longest marathon playoff in PGA Tour history.

The 21-year-old Huh eagled the par-5 fifth hole and had six birdies in his bogey-free final round, closing with 13 under.

Huh received 666-thousand U.S. dollars for a prize, emerging as a strong candidate for rookie of the year.
