S. Korea Wins 41st King's Cup

South Korea’s Olympic soccer team has won the 41st King’s Cup tournament in Thailand.

The national team, led by coach Hong Myung-bo, thrashed Norway three-to-zero in their final match held in Bangkok’s Rajamangala National Stadium on Saturday.

With two victories and one draw, South Korea’s team won the King’s Cup tournament for the first time in 14 years. South Korea had earlier defeated Thailand three-to-one and played Denmark to a scoreless draw.

The team will play against Saudi Arabia on February fifth for the fourth round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
