National Athletes Launch Training for London Olympics

South Korea's national athletes have held their first training session this year ahead of the 2012 London Olympics.

The Korea Olympic Committee (KOC) on Monday held a ceremony at the national training center in Taeneung to mark the launch of official training for the Olympic games.

KOC President Park Yong-sung, Culture, Sports and Tourism Minister Choe Kwang-shik and about 400 athletes and coaches attended the ceremony.

The athletes vowed to perform their best in the games, while the KOC president said the nation aims to win more than ten gold medals and rank in the top ten.
