S.Korea Hopes to Win 10-12 Golds in London Olympics

The head of the Korea Olympic Committee says South Korea aims to bring home ten to 12 gold medals from the 2012 London Olympics.

Committee Chairman Park Yong-sung said in an interview Friday with Yonhap News that his organization will give its full support to South Korean athletes so they are in top condition for the games.

South Korea will send 250 athletes to the London Olympics, which open on July 27th.

The nation is expected to win medals in archery, taekwondo, fencing and wrestling.

This year South Korea will begin earnestly preparing and building facilities for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
