South Korea’s two representative sluggers Lee Seung-yeop and Lee Dae-ho have made new career moves.

Lee Dae-ho signed with Japan’s Orix Buffaloes after becoming a free agent at the end of last season from the Busan Lotte Giants. Lee Seung-yeop will return to his former team the Daegu Samsung Lions from the Osaka-based Orix Buffaloes.

The Japanese pro baseball team announced that it has acquired Lee Dae-ho on a two-year contract worth 700 million yen, or more than ten billion won.

Lee Seung-yeop will rejoin the Samsung Lions after playing in the Japanese league for eight years.

He signed a one-point-one-billion-won contract with Samsung.

The two heavy-hitters will take on new challenges next year in the two neighboring countries.
