Morning Lows in Central Region Post Record Highs

The nation saw an unusually warm day on Monday as morning temperatures posted record numbers for late November in most areas of the central region.

Morning lows in Seoul and Incheon reached 13-point-nine degrees Celsius, up 13 degrees from previous years, while the morning low in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province, reached 13-and-a-half degrees Celsius, an increase of 15 degrees compared to average years.

The Korean Meteorological Administration attributed the weather to warm air blown from the southwest and rain clouds covering the Korean Peninsula.
