Lee Wins Gold at ISU World Cup

South Korean long-track speed skater Lee Seung-hoon grabbed Korea's first gold medal at the Essent ISU (International Skating Union) World Cup under way in Kazakhstan.

Lee came in first in the mass start event on Sunday local time with a time of nine minutes and 40-point-51 seconds .

In the men's one-thousand meters, Mo Tae-Bum won a bronze medal with a time of one minute nine-point-29 seconds.

In the women's mass start event, Kim Bo-reum finished third at seven minutes and 26-point-85 seconds.
